Gain a very unfair advantage in life, with knowledge not taught in school

“You can have it all!â
If you are a seeker of something ‘more’, I want to share with you something that I hope will give you the answers you seek and turn your dreams into reality.
*calm and zen melody, increasing in volume*
Itâs 6:15, and your eyes are drowsy from a night of too little sleep. âAgain? When will I feel rested when I get up in the morning?â you might ask yourself. I know I did. Every day was a repeat of the one that came before it.
You head off to work, and hopefully, youâre one of the lucky few who feel amazing on the way to your job, because you just canât wait to get started. For me, my job was hauling hot, fresh-from-the-mold car parts from one rack to the next, 8-16 hours per day. On a normal day, I would have at least 20.000 steps on my pedometer.
Once I got home, dinner was on the agenda, although the majority of the time, I was eating overtime pizza. It was a win-win, because I rarely had time or energy to cook, so it was easy. The stack of empty pizza boxes often reached the ceiling, a feat I took pride in at the time.
If I wasnât called for work during the weekends, I would hit the pub with my fellow coworkers from the factory. Two days later, I would step back into the huge, hot hall. The smell of molten aluminum was overwhelming every time.
That was my normal life, along with all the other souls from my town and those who lived in the districts that were neighboring it.
You might not work in a factory. Maybe youâre an office worker, a store clerk, a mechanic, a taxi driver, or any of the infinite titles and positions we have available. But time is equal and precious to all of us, and thatâs what I want to talk about today. We’ll never get our time back, so let’s talk about how you can get more of it.
âA surprisingly effective way to get what you want is to not settle for less than what you wantâ
Do you have time to do everything that you want to do?
Or do you have to cram it into your allotted 2-3 week vacation every year?
âA surprisingly effective way to get what you want is to not settle for less than what you want.
It doesn’t always workâyou can’t force the world to be a certain wayâand you may need healthy doses of patience and doggedness, but your life bends toward what you accept.â
The bestselling author James Clear said that, and if I was to resonate more, I would ruin the ball-bearings of my office chair.
I canât tell you how often I hear âI wish I could do Xâ, or âHopefully Iâll win the lottery some dayâ, or âIf I had time, I would definitely do X!â
My answer is often âNo⌠No, you wouldnât, because you’re not prepared for such a thing.â
First off, the majority of people who win great sums of money in the lottery are worse off shortly after, simply because they couldnât cope with such a big change in their life. It’s kind of like a rubber band – it stretches, but it will fight to snap back.
Is it rude of me to almost disregard their dreams? I would say itâs a bit of tough love, because we all have dreams and goals, but itâs just too easy to not follow through on them. One can hear in the way a person speaks if they are on the path to fulfill their destiny, and most humans tend to go for the easiest route. Itâs just how weâre wired.
But what if I told you that reaching the heights of your dreams doesnât need to be hard?
Itâs not your fault that you donât have everything you want in your life right now. You know why? Because you were never taught these things. Everything you know has been taught through experience, education, your upbringing, etc.Â
In school, weâre taught to repeat the text of whatever book the teacher has been told to teach us. âStudy this, and remember these words.â Okay, great, but why did I know more about the second world war than I did about my own potential when I was done studying? I barely remember my classmates anymore, let alone what we studied together.
How is it that we are taught what everybody else is doing, but not how to do amazing things ourselves?
I have quite a few theories, but none of them came from school. I learned these things from going on my own hunt for knowledge. And let me tell you, once you see what we humans have been up to since we were huddled around the campfire in those ancient times, youâll be amazed. We are VERY habitual beings.
So I sat out on the very same quest I want to share with you.
- You donât know what you donât know.
- You know that you donât know.
- You know, and youâre implementing what you know.
- You know it so well, itâs second nature.
These are the 4 levels of learning, and most people are either at 1 or 2, depending on how much theyâve desired a change in their life. Before you knew what 2+2 was, there was no way of knowing the answer. Not until you learned the concept and frame of mind that you need to use while solving mathematical problems. Makes sense, right?
This goes for anything! E=mc² is just a fancy string of words until you understand the reasoning behind it.
âDonât let schooling get in the way of your educationâ
-Mark Twain
I invite you to consider that you are capable of far – FAR – more than what youâve been led to believe.
We used to live in tribes. Communities were mainly made out of families. Over time, as our technology and cleverness reached new heights, new systems were introduced. All of a sudden, time was not measured by the sun crossing the sky, it became a tool to measure when we wake up, when to be at work, when to eat lunch, regardless of being hungry or not, etc.
We were conditioned to follow structure and time tables already in kindergarten, which developed into a more advanced and rigid system once we started school, and then finally at our jobs. Some picked their job already at 15 years old when someone asked âWhat will you be for the rest of your life? Pick a card with a title, and follow that from now until ever.â
Back in the âgood old daysâ, schools were in communication with the factories about how to best prepare their students for the work they were destined to do for their employer. They didnât need to know more, because the world had changed. The industrial revolution was something everyone would benefit from.
That is until it was overtaken by greed and profits. When the workload increased, and the salaries dropped, so that the employer could line their pockets even more, a trend emerged. A trend that we follow to this day. Our parents were taught by their parents, who were taught by their parents, who were⌠-you get the point.
But as our world evolved, these old and outdated systems started to become redundant. Yet most of us are still unaware of exactly what weâre capable of, simply because we are not introduced to anything different.
Right now, a new industrial trend is emerging, where employers will hire and fire employees through an app. Their performance is measured through datapoints in an algorithm, which takes all of the humanity out of the process. With the Internet being as it is, there is infinite numbers of new canditates to pick from, meaning that they can drive down salaries even more.
You might not have been aware of some of the things that I have shared so far, but let’s not focus on the past. You’re here because you saw something that might help you in your journey, so let’s focus on what you could have in your future instead.
First, I want to invite your brain to the party. That amazing 3-pound grey thing that we have behind our eyes. Inside it, magic is happening every split second of every day, and when we know how this magic is created, we can create magic when we want to, both in our own lives and in the lives of those around us.
We have a âsorting mechanismâ in there, called the Reticular Activating System, or RAS for short. Its main job is to answer your questions. So if you ask yourself âHow many horses are there in the world?â, your RAS will start âhighlightingâ horses that you come across. Itâs simply doing its job. This goes for anything, and it is a literal superpower.
Letâs say you ask âWhy am I so loved?â. The important part here is âAM Iâ, as if itâs part of your reality right now, even if you might feel like you lack this in your life at the moment. You will start noticing all the things that highlight what an amazing person you are, and go âOooh, THATâS why Iâm so loved!â
… with practice, of course.
But it can also be your worst enemy if you keep thinking âWhy is nothing that I want ever happening in my life?â, or âThis is just typical⌠Everything bad always seems to happen to me!â, your RAS will find the answers for you, and youâll be stuck in a negative feedback loop.
Now, bringing this into the context of what youâre reading, if youâve learned anything so far, your RAS is already at work, because it has new information to work with, which brings me to the next point of our amazing brain.
Neuroplasticity.
In simple terms, this means that we are ALWAYS able to change how we think, how we act, what we feel, and so on.
Because our brains are capable of creating new pathways between neurons; the more we learn, the more our brain evolves, and it can NEVER shrink back to its original size.
It means that itâs biologically impossible for you to go backwards. If you learn something, or your subconscious mind picks up something, itâs there forever. You just need to know how to bring it to the surface if and when you should need it.
This is what Iâve been focusing on for the past 3 years of my life. Iâve been learning how to learn and how to build the habit of breaking bad ones and installing new ones.
Youâre reading this because you saw some video or read some post. Maybe we talked, or maybe you received an email. The point is; youâre here for a reason. What youâve seen so far is merely the beginning. Itâs the top-level of that crusty-like snow on top of Mount Everest.
How do I know that?
Because as much as I teach, I also study relentlessly.
Iâve learned so much, and Iâm still learning new things each and every day. The only difference is that itâs happening faster and faster as I learn more and more.
I want to give this gift to you.
Itâs a set of values and frameworks that enables me to think differently, and it has changed my entire existence. If you donât know about my transformation(and honestly, why should you care about my transformation?), one can easily follow my journey from before the day I started this whole adventure. Everything has been documented to some degree, which is important because of one key thing.
If I can do it, so can you.
The normal reaction to such a statement is âNo, I canât because Xâ. You might think that, because of your past, you canât have what I want to give you. Maybe itâs because you think itâll take too much time. Time you donât have. Maybe itâs because
- you have a family to take care of, so you canât do âone more thingâ
- you have a job that drains you, so you canât find the energy for something new
- you did bad in school, so âobviouslyâ youâd do bad now as well
- you have bad genes from your parents
- your parents did something a certain way, and now youâre destined to do the same
- you lack skills that youâve seen others have, and think youâre âjust not that personâ
- you have some chronic illness that prevents you from achieving your goal
- you donât believe you can, or even deserve to achieve greatness
- your spouse wouldnât like you to do something new in your life
- youâre too young
- youâre too old
- your âluckâ just wouldnât allow good things to happen
This list could go on FOREVER. Iâve heard it all, and because of it, I have good news for you.
What we teach in The FML Project goes way beyond all those things. Even if some or all of them were 100% true, what we teach will leave the false BS redundant. Oh, BS is short for Belief System.
We do everything in life according to our beliefs. If youâre religious, itâs because at some point in your life, you learned something that made so much sense to you that it changed the way you see the world. It changed your current belief system.
If youâre an angry person, it might be because you were subjected to situations that brought out that anger, and over time, reinforced it to the point where it became a habit and part of your personal BS. We do what we learn and see other do, and if we’re not taught differently, weâll continue to live life in the way we learned it.
This goes for anything, so we want to teach you how to apply this knowledge in your own life, so that you can gain an unfair advantage.
Why is it âunfairâ? You would be amazed if you knew how many people go their entire life without being aware of themselves. The points Iâve made so far are unknown to the vast majority of people, because most people are more interested in social media and news than what they can do in life.
Who am I to say all of this?
My name is Tor. Iâm honored to be the father of two amazing aspiring superheroes. I love Norse mythology, quantum physics, and everything else about our cosmos.
I was diagnosed with an inoperable blood clot at age 18, and because of the negative mentality it bestowed on me, I managed to burn down a local mall, landing me $4 million in criminal debt.Â
The events of my life taught me invaluable lessons that no school could ever teach. I also flunked out of school with a 0.6 GPA out of 6. My life seemed to be destined for failure.
I committed 3 armed robberies during the time I identified as a criminal. Everyone else had judged me as such, so filling my role wasnât hard. Because of that, I spent almost 3 years in prison, where I battled the urge of snapping my neck in the sink while I was in complete solitary confinement.
When I got out of prison -despite my desire to start a new life, I lost all the jobs I landed because of the blood clot. I had to find solutions that would enable me to provide for myself, because I failed at what I tried to achieve all the time.
I was blessed with a son that pushed me even more, although me and his mother split up.
As I was taking a break from my quest to build a life for myself, I met a girl. We moved in with each other and had a beautiful baby girl 2 years later. We were fighting the government for her citizenship the entire time, while living on next to nothing, because the government denied everything due to her âalien originsâ.Â
We lost that battle and shortly after my daughter turned 1, I had to drop them off at the airport for their deportation. This is the event that changed everything for me.
As people go to their deathbed, they may feel regret as they see their life flash before their eyes, while wishing they had done more with the short lives weâre all given.Â
The second I lost sight of my family, I had a similar experience as I broke down in the airport.
As one can see in the video from that day, I vowed to fix that situation. The best way I saw how to do that, was to build myself up until I could take on the entire flawed system. Big goals, I know, but today – 3 years later, as Iâm writing this – itâs exactly what Iâm doing.
I donât have the debt anymore. And despite the verdict of âspecialistsâ, who spent 13 years trying to fix the âinoperableâ blood clot, I managed to fix it myself through epigenetics and quantum physics. It’s a lot easier than it might seem.
My family was by my side 8 months and 12 days after I lost them, and I vowed to give them everything they deserve.
I live the ultimate dream life, and because I know how I got here, I want to share that with everyone whoâs seeking to reach their dream as well.
